‘The Dock’, is a fictional design concept imagined for the idyllic west coast of Herm Island.
Director Rachel Rogers has long dreamed of this restaurant that captures the soul of island life – rustic, relaxed, and connected to the sea. She handed this vision to architecture student Oli Coupe, who brought it to life as part of an internal design exploration.
The result? A charming timber-clad structure perched on stilts between Rosaire steps and The White House – where diners can don a bib, crack fresh crab, and sip sundowners as they gaze toward Guernsey.
Though purely conceptual, The Dock captures what we all crave: a space to unwind, connect with nature, and savour the moment.
