Set in an elevated location with breathtaking west coast views, Vazon View is a prime example of modern, modular architecture that harmonises with its natural surroundings.

Our clients envisioned a multi-generational home that provided both communal living spaces and independent areas for privacy. Key objectives for the project included:

Maximising west coast views to create a seamless connection with the surroundings.
Large, open-plan spaces with easy, level access to outdoor terraces, encouraging an indoor-outdoor flow.
Modern construction techniques to enhance comfort and energy efficiency.

Design Vision

We were entrusted with designing this multi-generational kit home, ensuring it met both the functional and aesthetic needs of the client. Working within a strict grid system for Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS), we developed a concept that links three distinct buildings via a central flat-roofed structure. This design approach reduces the perceived mass of the property, creating an interplay of forms while maintaining a sense of openness.

To enhance the property’s connection with its coastal surroundings, we raised the ground floor, ensuring that all rooms—including the pool and landscaped areas—enjoy unobstructed sea views.
